Project overview

Egis leader of the consulting and engineering consortium formed by FASE (Portuge) and Setec ITS (France), is responsible for project management and technical assistance for the implementation of a first driverless metro line (20km in length and 23 stations). 

The future driverless metro system will run via the Macau ferry terminal and major Macau hotels/casinos.

Our missions

EGIS is responsible for providing technical assistance to the client, especially:

  • To analysis, estimate and refine the parameters considered in the “Preliminary Study of the Development of the Macau LRT System” prepared by GIT in mainly in the field of alignment, systems, rolling stock, operation, maintenance and project costs.
  • To prepare tender documents for the tendering process for both the System and the Rolling Stock suppliers.
  • To evaluate proposals received and drawing up Contracts for their allotment. 
  • To provide technical assistance of the System and Rolling Stock, which covers the quality control involved in the production, assembly and reception of equipment, and trials and commissioning. 
  • To plan and manage the complete execution of the project. 
  • To support GIT in all areas of project management, particularly in the area of risk management.
